This role requires experience leading a team, ensuring providers are tracked through credentialing and enrollment, and working with market partners on contract setup. A strategic and data-driven approach to analyzing financial processes, identifying revenue leakage, and resolving underpayments is essential. Experience with payment posting, lockbox management, and EDI/EFT enrollment is also required.
The Revenue Cycle Manager will lead a team of credentialing specialists and billing leads, providing guidance and fostering a high-performance culture. They will establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for the billing and credentialing team, analyzing metrics to achieve organizational targets. This role involves identifying and resolving potential areas of revenue leakage through a data-driven approach and collaborating with cross-functional teams. Responsibilities include minimizing claim rejections and denials by implementing robust operations for claims submission and validation, as well as developing measures to optimize the claims process. Additionally, the manager will establish a process to identify underpayments, review payment discrepancies, and ensure accurate and timely recording of payments from lockbox systems.
