High school graduate or GED is required, with 2 years of related experience preferred. Experience working with multiple IT systems is also preferred. The individual must be at least 18 years old and possess adequate visual acuity and the ability to communicate effectively, hear, understand, and distinguish speech and other sounds.
The Revenue Cycle Coordinator is responsible for managing denials, credit balance resolution, and accounts receivable follow-up. They will coordinate with the Staff Accountant to ensure quality account services and support the execution of collection and accounts receivable processes. This role involves assisting with accounts receivable, denials, and credit balances, triaging issues to the Staff Accountant when necessary, and supporting the development of departmental goals. The coordinator will also assist with the analysis and maintenance of legally required records, support operations by assisting with escalated customer issues and answering billing inquiries, and verify billing accuracy. Additionally, they will review and initiate appeal information, help accelerate cash flow, and participate in continuing education programs related to revenue cycle and healthcare finance.
