Requirements

Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A minimum of 2-4 years of relevant accounting or finance experience is required. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with accounting software is essential, with experience in Sage Intacct, Floqast, and Coupa being a plus. A strong understanding of GAAP, particularly ASC 606, ASC 842, and ASC 326 is necessary.

Responsibilities

The Revenue Accountant lll will create and send invoices to customers for cloud services, process payments, and manage cash collections. They will resolve customer billing inquiries and issue credits as needed. The role includes creating and maintaining customer profiles and accounting data, analyzing customer payment patterns for credit loss calculations, and reconciling accounts receivable aging. They will review and calculate complex revenue share arrangements with partners and collaborate with the revenue accounting team to ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards. Additionally, they will prepare journal entries and assist with month-end and year-end close processes, contributing to ad-hoc reporting and projects as requested.
