Requirements

Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field, with a CPA or Master's degree preferred. They should have at least three years of progressive accounting experience, ideally including Big 4 accounting experience, and demonstrate working knowledge of US GAAP and ASC 606. Experience in the technology industry is a plus.

Responsibilities

The Revenue Accountant will perform reviews of non-standard contracts, conclude on appropriate accounting treatment, work in tandem with cross-functional teams to understand revenue transactions, support research for and preparation of technical accounting memos, prepare and analyze Deferred Revenue waterfall schedules, prepare monthly journal entries and account reconciliations for revenue-related areas, execute assigned responsibilities for the monthly close process, assist with process improvements and internal control enhancements, support the external audit process, and work within a team environment to communicate status and progress. They will also contribute to the implementation of revenue sub-ledger and other systems and tools, and perform other duties as assigned.
