Requirements

Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or an equivalent qualification, and should have at least one to three years of relevant accounting experience, including a minimum of one year gained at a Big 4 accounting firm. Previous experience in the SaaS industry, specifically preparing revenue journal entries, account reconciliations, and performing month-end close tasks is considered advantageous, and familiarity with NetSuite is a plus. Strong proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, is also required.

Responsibilities

The Revenue Accountant will support the month-end close process by preparing revenue-related journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations, assisting the accounting team in documenting close procedures for public readiness, and performing analytical reviews to provide insights to internal stakeholders. This role will also implement and maintain revenue recognition policies, procedures, and processes in accordance with ASC 606, provide support during audits, and ensure compliance with internal controls and external regulations. Furthermore, the Revenue Accountant will collaborate with other teams to analyze financial data, contribute to revenue projects and process improvement initiatives, and help the revenue accounting team implement improvements to automate and scale the Order to Cash process.
