Ability to work a flexible schedule based on business needs
Continuous movement for 6-8 hours per shift, including frequent bending, twisting, squatting, flexing and reaching
Frequent use of hands for grasping, fine manipulation, pushing and pulling
Handle bulky and sometimes awkwardly shaped items, including reaching for and lifting above the head
Regularly lift items weighing up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 25 pounds
Stock and Fulfillment Only: Frequently lift and carry up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds

Responsibilities

Work with the team to ensure the salesfloor stays "runway ready", sized and filled in through re-merchandising and straightening
Assist customers when cashiering with transactions across platforms (in-store, online, mobile), operating POS, bagging items, handling heavy/bulky items
Support fitting room by greeting/assisting customers and sorting/returning clothing to the floor
Create clean, clutter-free experience by sorting and returning clothing to salesfloor
Keep stockrooms organized, check in merchandise accurately and ticket it properly
Demonstrate expertise in all store technologies
Adhere to operational, merchandise and asset protection standards
Promote initiatives like Nordstrom Rewards program
Receive, unload freight, unpack and deliver merchandise to selling departments (Stock/Fulfillment)
Fulfill customer orders timely following quality standards (Stock/Fulfillment)
Prepare and ship customer orders following quality, packing and shipping standards (Stock/Fulfillment)
Utilize inventory management systems to scan, process and research shipments per inventory control processes
Assist in maintaining clean and organized selling floors and stockrooms
Provide general store support (e.g., set up events, organize backroom, markdowns, relocate fixtures)
