Responsibilities

Ensure superior customer service by developing relationships with customers and modeling US Foods Cultural Beliefs
Perform cashier duties: scan merchandise, weigh products, look up items, ensure barcode accuracy, report discrepancies, perform cart-to-cart transfers, visual inspections for tampering, receipt checking
Perform store opening and closing functions at the front end
Assist customers on the sales floor in Meat/Frozen, Produce/Dairy, Dry Goods/Culinary Equipment & Supply departments to find products and promote services
Receive inventory shipments, stock shelves neatly, rotate products (FIFO), perform product quality audits, report low stock, label merchandise (blaster tagging, catch weight labels, PLU tags)
Replenish sales floor daily by down stocking freight from top stock, ensuring oldest product first
Assist with price changes, inventory, cycle counts, special events (Vendor Fairs, sales floor resets)
Maintain facility safety, follow safety policies, notify management of issues
Work in any department (front end, sales floor, stocking) as assigned based on needs
