Responsibilities

  • Maintain superior customer service and model US Foods Cultural Beliefs
  • Perform cashier duties: scan merchandise, weigh products, process checkout accurately, handle cart-to-cart transfers, receipt checking
  • Assist customers on the sales floor in Meat/Frozen, Produce/Dairy, Dry Goods/Culinary Equipment & Supply departments
  • Receive inventory shipments, stock shelves neatly, rotate products using FIFO, perform product quality audits, report low stock
  • Label merchandise properly (blaster tagging, catch weight labels, PLU tags)
  • Replenish sales floor from top stock, ensure products are accessible and visually appealing
  • Assist with price changes, store opening/closing, inventory/cycle counts, special events (Vendor Fairs, resets)
  • Ensure store safety and maintenance, notify management of issues
