  • 100% ability to walk sales floor, stockrooms and office areas during duration of shift
  • Ability to deescalate incidents involving confrontation by Athletes exhibiting concerning behavior

Responsibilities

  • Mitigate and reduce losses through deterrence of external theft and execution of key operational programs
  • Model customer engagement behaviors to detect and deter shoplifters and provide service to all customers
  • Act in compliance with Company policy “Engaging Law Enforcement” when service attempts do not deter theft
  • Assist in monitoring store compliance with policies related to safety, operational controls, and Merchandise Expose Standards (MES) execution
  • Assist in external/internal investigations and promote store awareness around addressing theft and operational controls
  • Monitor customer and teammate traffic for potential theft activity while following Company standards of dress code and addressing concerning behaviors
  • Complete detailed and accurate incident reports in LPMS for all recoveries, shoplifting events, and grab & go activity
  • Follow-up with local authorities for external case resolution and prosecution
  • Create an inclusive in-store environment where everyone feels welcome, safe, and treated with respect
  • Support, promote, and demonstrate company values related to customer engagement
  • Provide ad hoc support for general business needs as necessary
  • Participate in Shrink Coach meetings, new hire orientation, and conduct frequent training sessions with store teammates
  • Assist store Shrink Coach with execution of Shrink Business Plan on a limited basis
  • Conduct MES sweeps, fitting room checks, and safety standards when athlete traffic is slow
  • Adhere to established policies and procedures related to safety, loss prevention, and standard operating procedures
  • Maintain confidentiality of all Company information
