Requirements

  • Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Prior retail sales experience (or customer-focused experience) preferred
  • Ability to stand, bend, stoop, reach, push, pull and lift 15 to 35 lbs. items repetitively (up to 25 times per hour)
  • Ability to work extended periods of time (up to 4 hours) standing or walking
  • Ability to work at heights greater than 4 feet with use of a ladder, aerial lifting device, or platform
  • Ability to perform repetitive motions for short periods of time (up to 2 hours continuously)

Responsibilities

  • Support building and hiring a strong team by observing in-store interviews and department tours
  • Build a people-first culture by connecting with every teammate to build mutual trust, respect, and contribute to store recognition culture
  • Plan, organize, and control 30-days out with guidance of Assistant Store Manager, including building effective approaches and aligning workforce for daily assignments, game plans, projects, or store events
  • Strategically leverage teammates to ensure brand standards are met, programs and processes are executed daily, and tasks are delegated by priority
  • Uphold company merchandising and presentation standards by following floor sets, signage, price changes, inventory presentation, and replenishment standards
  • Assist store leadership team with general supervision in accordance with company policies and procedures
  • Assist with training teammates on company procedures and programs, including onboarding new teammates and cross-training current ones
  • Prioritize coaching and developing oneself and others by providing hands-on coaching and teaching the "why" behind tasks, plans, and processes (e.g., Protection Plans, Scorecards, Loss Prevention)
  • Lead by example to support organizational and store vision by helping teammates understand how their responsibilities align to common purpose, goals, and exceptional shopping experience
  • Create an inclusive store environment where everyone feels welcome, safe, and treated with respect
  • Adhere to established policies and procedures related to safety, loss prevention, and standard operating procedures
  • Maintain confidentiality of all company information
  • Take an all-hands-on-deck approach to support the team across the store
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by management
