Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day purchasing activities by monitoring product levels and proactively purchasing to ensure dispensaries are adequately stocked with appropriate SKUs
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with 3rd party cultivators and manufacturers to purchase cannabis products for Pennsylvania dispensaries
  • Analyze data from multiple sources to identify best-selling brands and strains/flavors, informing localized inventory purchase plans by dispensary
  • Maintain a promotional calendar, including store-specific markdowns on slow-moving, over-stocked, or aged products
  • Maintain a purchase and delivery schedule for both Cresco and 3rd party products to ensure appropriate days of supply
  • Work with Finance and Procurement to ensure POs are submitted and payments are timely
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align Sunnyside inventory strategy with retail and wholesale needs
  • Stay aware of industry trends and new manufacturers to identify and introduce the best new products to Sunnyside, and educate Retail Dispensary Managers on them
  • Collaborate with Pricing & Promotions Team to complete costing and ROI analysis for designing promotions with 3rd-party vendors
