Ride on the vehicle to assist the Driver while servicing customers on a designated residential route
Operate packing mechanism and various levers/handles to activate lifting and loading
Clean waste from packer blade, truck body, hopper, and truck on each disposal trip
Perform complete pre- and post-operation inspections of the vehicle and report safety issues
Courteously interact with customers, dispatchers, and others to ensure timely route servicing
Continuously monitor waste for unacceptable materials
Clean areas around accidental waste spills adhering to safety standards
Maintain required productivity standards for timely customer service
Follow all required safety policies and procedures
Perform other job-related duties as assigned
Assist Driver in maneuvering the vehicle by directing from the ground
Help maintain cleanliness of the vehicle, route, and work area
