Candidates should possess at least 2-4 years of professional experience in K-12 education research or program evaluation, along with a Master’s or Doctorate degree in Evaluation, Statistics, Educational Psychology, Psychology, Learning Sciences, Social Sciences, or a related field. Strong quantitative analysis skills are required, including experience with Stata or R, and the ability to translate technical findings into non-technical language. Demonstrated problem-solving aptitude and the ability to remove blockers to project delivery are also necessary.
The Researcher will be a champion for Instructure’s internal and external research and evaluation work, supporting data quality assurance efforts, analyzing education data and generating reports, and developing program logic models/theories of change. They will conduct literature reviews, communicate about educational research designs and results, own and manage deliverables, and work collaboratively with researchers, product managers, designers, marketers, and engineers to execute planned work and align with the company’s roadmap.
