Requirements

Candidates should possess a Master’s degree in a technical field such as Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Data Science, or a related area, and demonstrate advanced experience in data manipulation tools including Python, pandas, pyspark, and SQL. They should have a deep knowledge of statistics, probability, and machine learning techniques, along with experience building, testing, and validating machine learning models utilizing state-of-the-art technologies. A PhD in a technical field is considered a plus, and strong strategic thinking capabilities and project management skills are also desired.

Responsibilities

The Research Data Scientist will collaborate closely with engineering and technology teams to build predictive models, measurement algorithms, and deep analyses, providing insights for optimizing Tatari’s business. Specifically, they will apply state-of-the-art machine learning techniques to build predictive models and recommender systems, utilize deep understanding of statistics and probability to improve existing algorithms, contribute to developing and maintaining internal analysis software libraries, develop new intellectual property, analyze large datasets to identify relationships and trends, and translate these findings into actionable insights for the product team and clients, reporting their findings both orally and in writing.
