Pursuing an undergraduate degree in a quantitative discipline (e.g., economics, finance, business, accounting)
Strong academic performance, typically with a GPA of 3.7 or higher (on a 4.0 scale)

General finance knowledge and familiarity with financial concepts, with interest in learning more

Responsibilities

Build economic, financial, and operational models using Excel (e.g., valuation models, estimating cost of capital)
Conduct comprehensive qualitative research, including financial statements, market analysis, literature reviews, document examination, and writing memos to provide insights and support expert reports
Assist in preparing expert reports and presentations to help experts present complex economic and financial concepts clearly in legal and regulatory contexts
Collaborate effectively with team members at all levels to develop robust and innovative solutions for clients
Work on typical assignments such as: creating valuation models for financial assets, intangible property, and securities; assessing accounting internal controls for manipulation, improper revenue recognition, fraud patterns, tracing analysis, and flow of funds; examining firm trading activities and earnings for fraud and illegal behavior; evaluating bankruptcy restructuring plans, financial disclosures, and creditor recoveries; analyzing large databases for white collar fraud investigations and money laundering
