Position Overview

Abbott is a global leader in healthcare, creating innovative science to improve people's health. We are seeking a Sales Representative for our Diabetes Care division, focusing on medical devices. This role is crucial for promoting our life-changing products that provide accurate data to drive informed decisions for individuals managing diabetes. We are revolutionizing glucose monitoring with our new sensing technology.


Responsibilities

  • Promote Diabetes Care products in pharmacies, hospitals, and private practices.
  • Ensure sustained growth through proper resource management.
  • Meet productivity objectives and provide personal follow-up with clients.
  • Develop and execute work plans, promotions, and training on device usage for pharmacy chains, hospitals, medical offices, and key opinion leaders.
  • Conduct business ethically, adhering to applicable national and international regulations.
  • Drive new business development.
  • Understand customer health needs and offer added value.
  • Generate sales reports and review key performance indicators.
  • Act as a demand generator for our products.

Qualifications

  • Education: University degree (Indispensable) in Health Sciences or a related field.
  • Experience:
    • 3 years as a Sales Representative in the Health industry.
    • Experience in Diabetes line (desirable).
    • Experience in pharmacies, hospitals, and private practices.
    • Experience in New Business Development and negotiation.
  • Skills:
    • Ability to learn the business and develop sales strategies.
    • Knowledge of the Diabetes product line.
    • Intermediate English language proficiency.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Experience managing productivity indicators.
  • Other:
    • Availability to travel (Yes, 25% of the Time).
