Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or technical discipline and 2 years’ experience in production or engineering
  • Demonstrated troubleshooting, analytical and planning skills
  • Proven ability to work in self-directed situations
  • Strong oral and written communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and implementation of new products at the GE Healthcare Repair Operations Center (ROC) in Oak Creek, WI, including repair processes for parts that were not previously repaired or duplication of repair processes that exist elsewhere
  • Lead repair/refurbishment development activities adhering to process standards, project financials, and time constraints
  • Work with engineering teams to define requirements, release parts and develop methods/equipment
  • Work with sourcing and materials teams to source parts
  • Establish safe manufacturing processes and resolve safety concerns
  • Ensure compliance through documentation and execution of work instructions and verification/validation
  • Provide program management, technical leadership, and design transfer
  • Work autonomously and manage multiple priorities to meet commitments
