Requirements

  • Valid MO driver’s license with no DWI/DUI within the past 12 months
  • Basic Maintenance or Mechanical Skills/Knowledge or relevant work history listed on application or resume
  • Willingness to learn Tyson SAP software and other systems for work orders and daily documentation
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively to share machine readings
  • Ability to use math for work-related computations (e.g., machinery, fluid capacities)
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, stretch, climb, push, pull, kneel, squat, and reach
  • Willingness to work in cold, damp, hot, humid environments with slippery surfaces
  • Ability to lift 60 lbs., climb ladders, and work at heights up to and exceeding 30’ daily
  • Willingness to work on feet for 12-hour shifts
  • Willingness to complete all required training and participate in job rotation
  • Ability to perform physical requirements with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Meet rehire criteria (minimum 90-day waiting period if applicable)

Responsibilities

  • Operate, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair all equipment and company assets
  • Maintain a safe work environment and adhere to Tyson policies and procedures
  • Keep machinery running to maintain continuous production
  • Set up, adjust, and break down production line machinery
  • Make work orders and fill out daily documentation in required systems
  • Communicate machine readings to proper personnel
