Valid MO driver’s license with no DWI/DUI within the past 12 months
Basic Maintenance or Mechanical Skills/Knowledge or relevant work history listed on application or resume
Willingness to learn Tyson SAP software and other systems for work orders and daily documentation
Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively to share machine readings
Ability to use math for work-related computations (e.g., machinery, fluid capacities)
Ability to stand, walk, bend, stretch, climb, push, pull, kneel, squat, and reach
Willingness to work in cold, damp, hot, humid environments with slippery surfaces
Ability to lift 60 lbs., climb ladders, and work at heights up to and exceeding 30’ daily
Willingness to work on feet for 12-hour shifts
Willingness to complete all required training and participate in job rotation
Ability to perform physical requirements with or without reasonable accommodation
Meet rehire criteria (minimum 90-day waiting period if applicable)

Responsibilities

Operate, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair all equipment and company assets
Maintain a safe work environment and adhere to Tyson policies and procedures
Keep machinery running to maintain continuous production
Set up, adjust, and break down production line machinery
Make work orders and fill out daily documentation in required systems
Communicate machine readings to proper personnel
