Requirements

Candidates must possess an active Registered Dietitian (RD) certification in Washington state. Experience in providing Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT) remotely and a strong passion for improving access to healthy, affordable food are essential. Proficiency in motivational interviewing and a proactive approach to patient advocacy are also required. Experience with Medicaid populations and underserved communities is highly valued, as is comfort working in a startup environment and adapting to new technologies.

Responsibilities

Registered Dietitians will provide individualized MNT through remote sessions, conduct digital shop-alongs on the Foodsmart platform, and support patients with nutrition assessments and SNAP benefit utilization. They will document care in an electronic medical record, manage a panel of patients with chronic health conditions, and communicate effectively with clients via video, audio, and electronic messaging to foster sustainable behavior change and improve health outcomes.
