Requirements

Candidates must possess a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, with a Master's degree or PMP/PMI certification being preferred. A minimum of 2 years of experience in project/program management, ideally within a global organization, is required. Experience with AI, human-machine interfaces, Edge and Cloud software development, or automotive applications is beneficial. Proven success in release and project management for products is essential, along with strong interpersonal and organizational skills to manage multiple releases and timelines. Advanced knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid) and tools such as Jira, MS Project, and PowerBI is necessary, as is a strong interest in and experience with state-of-the-art software release methodologies, continuous integration, and delivery.

Responsibilities

The Release Project Manager will manage the planning, scheduling, and deployment of software releases, coordinating release processes between different teams. They will conduct release readiness and milestone reviews, align with other project managers and engineering teams to ensure clarity of release scope, and remove impediments to the release. Responsibilities also include driving release process improvement, reporting on project status, maintaining the product dashboard and KPIs, and continuously managing priorities while addressing change requests, implementation challenges, escalations, and delays between teams.
