Requirements

Candidates must possess current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse with no practice restrictions and have a minimum of 3 years of post-graduate clinical nursing experience. Experience in patient assessments, care planning, and risk screening is required, along with strong IT proficiency. Experience with chronic disease management, mental health nursing, or medicinal cannabis is highly regarded, as is previous telehealth or virtual care experience. A commitment to full-time hours, Monday to Friday with one Saturday per month, and the afternoon shift (1pm - 9pm AEST/SEDT) is essential, with no flexibility for part-time hours.

Responsibilities

Registered Nurses will conduct high-volume telehealth assessment consultations daily, providing empathetic and non-judgmental care while maintaining clear emotional boundaries. They will accurately document consult outcomes to support safe prescribing, respond to patient inquiries, provide follow-up support, and escalate issues as needed. Responsibilities also include liaising with prescribers and the Patient Care team for continuity of care, delivering care from a remote desk in a structured, fast-paced environment, and supporting the team with general administrative tasks.
