Our company operates on a remote-first basis, welcoming candidates from across the United States. Our corporate headquarters are situated in San Francisco. We are seeking fully licensed Nurse Practitioners who are authorized to practice in the United States and possess the necessary state licenses.

The Clinical Operations team at Curai utilizes Artificial Intelligence-empowered electronic records to deliver both urgent and primary care services to our patients. We are currently looking for Family Practice Nurse Practitioners capable of treating both adult and pediatric patients. Our services operate 24/7, and we require flexible clinicians to cater to our patients' diverse needs.

Requirements

• Licensure:
  • Active Nurse Practitioner Licenses in 40+ U.S. states.
  • Must hold licenses in at least two (2) of the following states: California, Florida, and Texas.
  • Board certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP).
  • Must have a clear medical history with no nursing board actions or complaints.
• Experience:
  • 5 years of post-NP training experience.
  • Prior telemedicine experience is required.
  • Previous remote work experience or a strong aptitude for working effectively with a 100% remote team across multiple time zones.

  • Excellent grammatical construction.
  • Excellent command of the English language.
• Education:
  • Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program in the United States.

Responsibilities

A typical day for a Curai Nurse Practitioner involves:

• Patient Care:
  • Seeing acute/urgent care patients via our live text-based chat clinic.
  • Managing straightforward chronic care cases requiring prescription refills.
  • Accurately diagnosing patients through detailed history-taking.
  • Providing evidence-based treatment recommendations.
• Documentation:
  • Writing efficient and clear encounter visit notes that demonstrate strong medical decision-making skills.
  • Documenting differential diagnoses and well-written, relevant care plans.
  • Closing all notes optimally by the end of the encounter, or at the latest, by the end of the shift.
• Collaboration & Feedback:
  • Working closely with physicians in collaborative agreements as required by state regulations.
  • Providing feedback to AI/ML and product teams on features that enhance provider efficiency and accuracy.
  • Staying updated on EHR feature updates through continuous training and platform engagement.
• Administrative Tasks:
  • Approximately 10% of time dedicated to administrative tasks, including clinical meetings, EHR/automation product feedback projects, and clinical operations quality improvement projects.

Work Schedule & Location

• Employment Type: Full-Time
• Location Type: Remote (Candidates considered across the United States)
• Shifts: Clinicians must be available for one of the following day shifts, operating 4 days per week with one (1) rotating weekend per month:
  • 5:00 AM - 2:00 PM PST (9-hour shift)
  • 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM PST (12-hour shift)
