Candidates must possess a valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Wisconsin, along with at least one year of prior RN experience. Additional requirements include the ability to assist patients with their training for transitioning to home dialysis, and the capacity to conduct occasional home visits.
The Registered Nurse - RN at Fresenius Medical Care will be responsible for assessing and managing patients’ response to home dialysis training and treatment therapy, documenting patient-related issues for physician review, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans. They will also perform ongoing data collection and analysis, administer medications, initiate emergency response measures, provide patient and family education, and serve as a resource for the healthcare team, ensuring correct laboratory procedures and patient awareness of treatment options.
