Proficiency in using telehealth platforms and electronic health records is required, and a commitment to patient-centered care and empathy for patients with chronic cardiology conditions is essential.
As a Registered Cardiac Nurse, you will provide remote consultation and expertise in cardiology, educating patients about diagnoses, test results, and treatment plans. You will collaborate closely with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals, discuss complex cases, and participate in multidisciplinary care teams. Maintaining accurate patient records, conducting follow-up virtual visits, serving as a patient advocate, adhering to legal and ethical guidelines, prioritizing patient requests, pursuing continuing education, and participating in quality assurance programs are also key responsibilities.
