Requirements

  • Minimum 1-2 years experience in freight forwarding and logistics
  • Strong Data Analytics skills and Google Sheet skills
  • Possess positive and customer centric attitude when interacting with clients
  • Proven ability to multi-task
  • Diploma/Degree in Supply Chain Logistics preferred
  • Experience dealing with G-Suite is a must and preferably inhouse logistics system
  • Excellent communication & presentation skills (written and verbal)
  • Ability to communicate with all levels of the organization
  • Ensures tasks are completed within deadlines with priorities
  • Fluent in English and Mandarin

Responsibilities

  • Manage and follow up on quotation requests for the Sales team
  • Liaise with Oversea Agents to source competitive costs and provide accurate pricing
  • Confirm shipments with both clients and the operations team
  • Handle daily client communication, including shipment tracking and feedback resolution
  • Assist with client enquiries through appropriate escalation or direct support
  • Coordinate with operations teams to ensure feasibility of service offerings (e.g., shipping timelines, carrier availability, capacity constraints)
  • Conduct post-sale reviews to ensure service alignment with client expectations
  • Onboarding new clients and ensuring that new clients are onboarded with proper information
  • Guide & Provide SOPs or next course of action for client to commence shipment
  • Serve as the key gatekeeper for invoice validation, ensuring billing accuracy
  • Log and update shipment and deal details in internal systems
  • Maintain CRM and shipper databases to ensure data accuracy and visibility
  • Source new leads through cold calling and follow up on potential opportunities from the system or other freight forwarders
  • Support on weekly and monthly deck preparation
  • Analyze Sales & Sales support KPIs (e.g., on-time delivery rates, Buying and Selling, conversion rates, lead response times, Number of quotes generated) to identify trends and recommend improvements
  • Collaborate with sales and operations teams to refine pricing strategies based on seasonal demand, or route efficiency
