Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Life Sciences, or a related field; MBA preferred
  • Proven success in a commercial leadership role within the Diagnostics, Medical Devices, or Healthcare industry
  • Strong understanding of the local healthcare market, including customer dynamics, distribution channels, and regulatory frameworks
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and develop high-performing teams in a matrix organization
  • Excellent strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Fluent in English (additional regional language a plus)
  • Proficiency in CRM and sales management tools
  • Experience applying continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., DBS, Lean, Six Sigma) to drive operational and commercial excellence

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the country’s commercial strategy in alignment with Beckman Coulter’s and Danaher’s global business priorities, ensuring strong market growth and profitability
  • Lead, inspire, and manage commercial teams to meet and exceed revenue, margin, and market share targets while ensuring customer satisfaction and compliance excellence
  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with key accounts, healthcare institutions, and channel partners to deepen engagement and long-term collaboration
  • Continuously monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer insights to proactively adapt strategies and maintain leadership positioning in the diagnostics sector
  • Ensure the successful implementation of marketing initiatives, product launches, and go-to-market plans that resonate with local market needs
  • Champion the Danaher Business System (DBS) to drive daily management, continuous improvement, and operational excellence across all commercial functions
  • Oversee commercial budgets, ensuring efficient use of resources, ROI optimization, and alignment with strategic priorities
  • Partner closely with regional leaders, functional teams, and Danaher platform peers to ensure one aligned, high-performing Diagnostics organization
  • Provide regular business performance reports, insights, and strategic recommendations to regional and platform leadership
