Candidates must have over 10 years of Product Compliance experience with a focus on multi-region Payroll Solutions. A minimum of 3 years in a high-growth scale-up environment is required, along with the ability to work independently as a leader. Familiarity with Agile Principles and interactive product development processes is essential, as well as a strong understanding of both UX and UI. Candidates should possess strong financial acumen and experience in managing a team of payroll experts across various regions, and must be located within the EMEA timezone.
The Regional Lead will oversee payroll and tax compliance with EMEA regulations, ensuring all processes meet legal requirements. They will build a team of experts to cover critical EMEA jurisdictions and support the Product Management team by providing insights on compliance issues during payroll engine development. The role includes staying updated on legislative changes, acting as a liaison between various teams, identifying compliance risks, reviewing payroll system architectures, and educating teams on compliance requirements. Additionally, the Lead will maintain records of compliance checks and recommend improvements to payroll systems.
