The Regional Food and Safety Manager must be available and on-call 24/7 to respond to and investigate accidents. This role requires conducting risk assessments focusing on safety and food safety in assigned clubs, identifying trends, and implementing corrective strategies. Experience in handling regulatory visits, chemical usage best practices, and monitoring PPE utilization is necessary. A strong understanding of Workers' Compensation and General Liability claims is also required.
The Regional Food and Safety Manager is responsible for managing Workers' Compensation and General Liability claims across multiple clubs, aiding in the collection of incident documentation, and identifying trends to improve safety practices. They will partner with clubs to address safety trends, implement best practices for chemical usage and ordering, and monitor Personal Protective Equipment utilization. This role involves conducting real-time accident investigations, advising on team member accountability with HR, and reviewing regional safety trends. Additionally, the manager will conduct club steel walks, investigate damaged uprights and tire bay incidents, validate forklift operations through video, and lead various safety training sessions, including those focused on Food & Safety and forklift operations.
