Requirements

  • Ability to travel between properties within a designated region
  • Knowledge of technical and mechanical work to ensure buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas meet standards for cleanliness, appearance, safety, and functionality
  • Compliance with established policies, procedures, safety standards, and code requirements
  • Capability to diagnose defects or problems and make repairs
  • Skills in completing make-ready processes, including inspections, punch lists, scheduling vendors/contractors, obtaining supplies, and inspecting work
  • Proficiency in inventory tracking, accessing materials/supplies/equipment/tools, and notifying supervisors about re-ordering needs
  • Ability to complete documentation and paperwork accurately and timely

Responsibilities

  • Travel between properties within a designated region to assist with make-readies, work orders, curb appeal, cap ex projects, etc
  • Complete assigned work orders from resident requests and preventative maintenance by diagnosing issues and making repairs
  • Perform the make-ready process for vacant units, including pre-move-out inspections, punch lists, vendor scheduling, supply procurement, maintenance tasks, and inspections
  • Follow procedures for accessing and obtaining materials, supplies, equipment, tools; track inventory, return unused items, and notify supervisors of re-order needs
  • Complete documentation and paperwork timely, accurately, and completely for service request tracking
  • Assist in maintaining grounds, common areas, and amenities by picking up trash/debris, pressure-washing, general cleaning, and painting curbs/signage as needed
  • Support cost-cutting and expense control by fixing rather than replacing parts
