Requirements

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
  • Admission to at least one U.S. state bar
  • 6+ years of experience in intellectual property litigation and prosecution
  • Strong background in general litigation
  • Experience managing outside counsel and litigation budgets

Responsibilities

  • Handle all aspects of IP litigation, including discovery, motion practice, trial preparation, and settlement negotiations
  • Manage patent, trademark, and copyright prosecution activities, including maintaining and growing the company’s IP portfolio
  • Oversee responses to office actions, oppositions, and cancellations
  • Advise internal stakeholders on IP enforcement and defense strategies
  • Provide general litigation support for commercial and corporate disputes
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on enforcement issues, dispute resolution, and related matters
  • Collaborate with privacy, security, compliance, and commercial legal colleagues to scale support and align risk management on intellectual property and open source matters
  • Manage IP enforcement and defense strategies
