Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • 8–10 years of experience in financial reporting and controlling within a multinational organization
  • Strong knowledge of local GAAP and US GAAP
  • Experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred)
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and shared services
  • Experience in process optimization and automation is a plus
  • Familiarity with audit coordination and tax compliance will help you excel in this role, but are not required

Responsibilities

  • Ensure completeness and accuracy of financial statements in your region
  • Act as a business partner to management on regional accounting matters, including revenue recognition and accrual management
  • Collaborate with Financial Shared Services to resolve accounting issues and optimize processes
  • Maintain compliance with local statutory requirements and US GAAP for the entities in your region
  • Prepare and coordinate the local financial audit, ensuring timely completion and compliance with statutory requirements in your region
  • Implement and maintain an internal control framework for the region based on the SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley) internal control framework
  • Communicate financial results and key accounting matters to management and stakeholders
  • Lead and develop a regional team of controllers, fostering a culture of doing the right thing, collaboration and continuous improvement
