Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • Authorized to work in the US on a full-time indefinite basis without need for employment visa sponsorship now or in the future
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Military experience a plus

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support in response to day-to-day issues of plant operations in a team environment
  • Be proficient with pertinent issues of the mechanical codes and specifications
  • Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills
  • For Area Refining Engineer/Project Engineer: Involved in the technical development and project management of all types of refinery projects, organizing and coordinating projects within a multi-discipline team from conception through construction and startup (e.g., installation of new vessels and exchangers, pump and piping modifications)
  • For Reliability Engineer: Support the Refinery's maintenance department through design and development of equipment reliability improvements, root cause failure analysis, and optimization of maintenance predictive and preventive programs
  • Continuously find new technology in design, materials, and repair methods to achieve refinery goals of longer running times at lower costs
