Requirements
- Ability to safely operate a forklift
- Regular, predictable, full-time attendance
- At least 18 years old (for 401(k) eligibility, implying general maturity for equipment operation)
- Understanding of production and/or financial performance reporting for the department
- Commitment to club policies, procedures, and compliance standards
Responsibilities
- Accurately receive product and support completion of receiving reports (e.g., direct-to-club reports, negative-on-hand reports)
- Research and annotate receiving reports properly
- Support processing and organization of files, receipts, and outbound shipment paperwork
- Maintain dock security, including bag checks, monitoring flow of team members and visitors, ensuring compactors are locked and secured, and verifying all product is accounted for
- Safely operate a forklift to receive merchandise according to company processes and policies
- Ensure received merchandise is properly stored according to product specifications, including safe product placement, product protection, and cold chain standards
- Receive Direct Store Delivery (DSD) loads and process DSD credits as needed
- Process reverse logistics information and corporate-office-initiated returns
- Keep the dock organized and clean
- Maintain standards in the receiving department for organization, cleanliness, and safe operation
- Maintain all club policies and procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned, including working in other departments
- Act with honesty, integrity, and member focus; ensure safe and positive environment; embrace inclusion and diversity; work collaboratively as a team
- Deliver GOLD Member Standards (Greet, Anticipate, Appreciate) and club standards daily
