Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalency preferred (pre-employment assessment required if not held)
  • One to three months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Ability to complete all job duties and interact with employees, customers, vendors consistent with company values
  • Ability to be trained in and acquire Sonaca North America Forklift License
  • Current valid Driver's License with no major traffic violations within the previous three years
  • Excellent background; ability to be issued security clearance for customer delivery sites (includes GAC access badge)
  • Working knowledge of Database software, Internet software, Spreadsheet software; ability to use Outlook (AS400 a plus)
  • Ability to effectively perform production and material handling tasks requiring physical strength and dexterity
  • Ability to read and interpret basic work order instructions and drawings to produce and assemble kits
  • Ability to operate fork trucks, pallet jacks

Responsibilities

  • Perform Shipping, Receiving, Delivery, and Inventory daily departmental activities
  • Follow all applicable SP’s, QAP’s, and procedures
  • Load/unload trucks using fork truck, pallet jack, and/or hand truck according to safety regulations
  • Unpack crates and boxes, check items for accuracy and damage, and document accordingly
  • Place incorrect, defective, or incomplete receipts "on-hold" and follow up with plant or vendor
  • Accurately process all Jobscope system transactions related to Shipping, Receiving, and bin transferring
  • Assist with production operations as needed (includes roll-forming skin panels)
  • Assist with maintenance of Shipping and Receiving files
  • Assist with receipt of customer returns per QAP/SP
  • Monitor and revise weekly I50 report
  • Perform Lean and 6S functions
  • Assist in investigation/determination of root cause of errors/issues and implementation of corrective action
  • Drive delivery truck to/from customer sites, collect/track paperwork, make on-time deliveries following safety and quality standards
  • Participate in ergonomic exercises
  • Other duties as assigned
