Candidates should possess 8+ years of inspection experience in an aerospace, military, or manufacturing environment, proficiency in validating dimensions (total tolerances >=.005” with minimal GD&T validation), and experience with standard hand tools such as micrometers, calipers, and height gauges. They must be knowledgeable in the use of computers and/or tablets, authorized to work in the U.S., and willing to undergo a background check.
The Quality Inspector will provide detailed in-process and end-of-line inspections on flight hardware, document anomalies according to prescribed procedures, communicate and help resolve quality-related issues, process non-conforming products, assist engineering in root cause analysis and corrective action, and routinely observe technical operations while offering guidance and serving as a technical resource. The role also includes performing other related duties to ensure an efficient operation.
