Requirements

Tertiary Qualification/s in engineering or related discipline
At least 5+ years’ experience in multidiscipline infrastructure, or renewable energy, or substation style projects
Quality auditor

Responsibilities

Review client specifications and develop ITPs & ITCs that reflect the client’s requirements
Ensure ITPs & ITCs are completed to a high level of quality, across all projects
Provide ongoing reporting to the project team and/or client on project quality issues
Ensure work lots are opened in a systematic manner, monitored, and closed out in a timely manner
Ensure NCRs are well formulated, thorough and provide sufficient details to enable a quick response and close out
Liaise with the client’s quality department and attend the weekly QA coordination meetings for the Project
Supervise and/or carry out the detailed assessment of products and their components at different stages of production
Develop, implement, and monitor the Project’s Quality Management Plan
Undertake off site manufacturing audits and inspections to ensure compliance with the Project’s specifications
Maintain the Projects quality audit schedule
Investigate causal issues & implement corrective actions to mitigate against repeats of the same issues
Provide ongoing support to the project teams to assist them implement quality standards in their day-to-day work
Oversee fabrication processes by both the company and subcontractors to ensure it meets client specifications
Conduct Quality audits across projects, the fabrication facility and supplier facilities
