Requirements

Reporting to the quality supervisor
Knowledge of Quality Management System (QMS)
Familiarity with APQP process
Understanding of OTS/PPAP package documentation, safe launch plan, and product audit instructions
Experience with SIP, boundary samples, and inspection for new parts
Ability to lead internal final reject PPM improvement
Knowledge of ECN implementation
Capability to provide on-job training for quality standards and concepts
Skills in 8D methodology for internal and customer issues
Experience with Control Plan optimization, inspection standards, and SPC data maintenance
Customer communication skills

Responsibilities

Products quality improvement, new product development, and evaluation
On-site inspection/audit to ensure product conformity with the Company’s QMS
Investigation, improvement, root cause analysis, preventive and corrective actions for quality problems
Investigation, data analysis, and troubleshooting on production processes
Handling claims and inspection activities with internal departments and suppliers
Preparing and evaluating new development samples, ensuring smooth APQP process
Coordinating with internal departments on customer complaints related to quality
Preparing OTS/PPAP package docs, safe launch plan, and product audit instructions
Implementing and improving process quality control standards, standardized inspection/control (updating SIP, boundary samples, organizing inspections for new parts)
Leading and driving internal final reject PPM (outgoing inspection) continuous improvement, preparing weekly/monthly reports on evolution and action plans
Controlling implementation of ECN in process
Providing on-job training for quality standards and concepts
On-time troubleshooting for line quality issues, acting as internal 8D leader, handling customer complaints, and 8D response to closure
Dealing with nonconformity products in process
Optimizing Control Plan, inspection standards, and SPC data maintenance
Customer communication
Coordinating 8D reports for customer complaints and following up closure of corrective actions during PPAP and mass production
Receiving customer audits and conducting process audits
Visiting customers if requested
