Requirements
Candidates should possess 3+ years of strong hands-on coding/scripting experience in automation testing & engineering, experience working with Rest and SOAP services and understanding of SOA architecture, experience in creating and maintaining test automation framework, experience using SQL to query databases, exposure to distributed source control systems such as Git, and experience with test data management techniques.
Responsibilities
The Quality Engineer will design and develop automation solutions to meet organization standards, create tools and frameworks with quality code to simplify testing scenarios, design and develop test plans and test cases based upon functional and design specifications, execute test cases, analyze and report test results, work in partnership with development teams to deliver business functionality on time with required quality, act as a test lead, planning the work of other testing staff and assigning tasks to meet project deadlines, mentor/upskill junior team members, provide guidance on best practices in test automation, participate in code reviews, stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies in test automation, review and approve the work of project team members, ensure best practices are followed and testing activities stay on schedule, participate in internal/cross team meetings, project scoping, functional reviews, test specifications, and technical reviews, capture quality assurance data and metrics, estimate and perform risk analysis for quality delivery, and participate actively in functional, system, and regression testing activities.
