Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in a science related field required (Biology, Genetics, Chemistry or related life science field preferred); Alternatively, an Associate’s degree with 2 years of IDT experience
2 years applicable lab experience
Demonstrated skills working with next-generation sequencing technologies including library preparation and data analysis

Responsibilities

Apply analytical skills, scientific methods, or operational processes to perform next-generation library preparation and other molecular biology techniques using clearly defined standard operating procedures
Perform complex data entry and analysis, and peer review for good documentation practices, consistency, and accuracy in accordance with lab procedures
Perform daily lab duties including inventory replenishment, reagent preparation, routine equipment maintenance, and laboratory cleaning and organization in accordance with good lab practices
Work both independently and as part of a team testing next-generation sequencing kit reagents in concordance with established procedures and ISO 13485 guidelines
