Requirements

  • BS in Engineering, preferable in Mechanical / Industrial engineer
  • 10+ years people manager in the discrete manufacturing environment preferably in quality assurance
  • 5+ years of experience with respect to ASME pressure vessel code, DOT, ADR, PED/TPED. Preferable been member of the ASME or CGA or ISO committee
  • 5+ years’ experience in Root causes investigations and corrective actions using root cause tools
  • Knowledge and must [in cryogenic pressure vessel fabrication, regulatory compliance, codes and standards]

Responsibilities

  • Uphold Air Products safety philosophy for both the workplace and projects
  • Responsible for Quality Assurance and ensuring large static and transportable cryogenics product, such as semi-trailer, ISO, compliance to global regulation and country specific regulations
  • Collaborate across teams at a deep technical level to drive product quality and continual improvement across the Gardner Cryogenics organization
  • Advance a culture of Customer and Quality-focused work processes and critical thinking
  • Responsible for the Inspection Test Plans (ITPs), for cryogenics pressure vessel fabrication, in support of the Engineering department
  • Drive Root causes investigations and corrective actions pertaining to internal and external non-conformances
  • Responsible for the supervision and skill development of QA team members and driving them towards critical thinking
  • Responsible for maintaining the Quality Assurance Manuals for all Gardner Facilities and making sure the plants are abiding by it
  • Facilitate and coordinate electronic Management of Change submittals from initiation to implementation
  • Document control and management, including preparation of procedures, work instructions, and job aides for a controlled environment
