Director of Quality Assurance (QA)

Candidates should possess 4+ years of experience in QA for video games, with at least one product cycle in a lead QA role, and experience testing on multiple platforms such as PC and consoles. They should have a proven ability to lead small teams and coordinate with other departments, along with strong bug-writing, test documentation, and communication skills. A solid understanding of the game development cycle and various QA methodologies is also required, as well as comfort with tools like JIRA and TestRail.
The QA Lead will own daily QA operations across multiple test areas, including planning, task assignment, and issue prioritization, while directly testing features, systems, and content across various platforms and development builds. They will lead and mentor a team of QA testers, partner with production, design, engineering, and art teams to triage bugs and validate fixes, build and maintain test plans and cases, champion the player experience through usability and edge-case testing, identify risks and provide test coverage analysis, and support milestone submissions with thorough testing. Additionally, they will contribute to improving QA tools, workflows, documentation, and standards.
