Mission for Interns at Cohesity

As a Software Engineering Intern, you will be embedded within one of our engineering squads where you'll work side-by-side with your mentor & teammates to solve large, complex engineering challenges. You will be working on cutting edge distributed systems technology and building product features that customers will use. We are looking for technically strong and motivated individuals to join our team. You will learn how to develop high quality software and understand the various software development processes to ship successful products.

What's Required To Be An Intern at Cohesity

• You are competent in Data Structures, Algorithms, and Systems Design
• You have familiarity and proficiency in backend development: OOP, distributed or parallel systems, Unix/Linux environments, machine learning, asynchronous programming, networking, security, and/or software development.
• You have a passion for in any: C++, Java, GoLang, Python
• You enjoy solving puzzles and possess critical thinking abilities
• You are actively pursuing BS, MS, or Ph.D. in Computer Science or related engineering field at accredited university, and will not graduate before December 2024

In-Office Expectations

Cohesity employees who are within a reasonable commute (e.g. within a forty-five (45) minute average travel time) work out of our core offices 2-3 days a week of their choosing.
