Requirements

  • HBO-diploma or equivalent work and thinking level, preferably educated in food direction and/or supplemented with training and/or work experience in food
  • At least 3 years of recent work experience in leading a small team (QA/QC)
  • Knowledge of quality standards such as HACCP, BRC, IFS, and FSSC 22000
  • Entrepreneurial spirit, hands-on, action-oriented, and flexible approach, strong analytical skills
  • Ability to set good priorities and take action at the right moment
  • Critical and controlling capabilities
  • Works very structured and accurately
  • Communicative, independent, and uses a no-nonsense approach

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for developing a comprehensive quality policy and ultimately accountable for the performance of the quality system in the Netherlands
  • HACCP team responsible coordinator
  • Evaluate the current system and propose an action plan to the management team
  • Actively involved in transversal group projects within Solina
  • Ensure strict compliance and feasibility of quality procedures, work instructions, documents, and QA-related matters in job descriptions
  • Increase quality awareness and food safety culture within the company, and organize quality trainings for all employees on a regular basis
  • Coordinate/lead internal audits and ensure implementation of corrective and preventive measures
  • Responsible for customer and certification audits and occasionally conduct supplier audits to ensure suppliers meet quality standards
  • Oversee good quality controls in product development (QC)
  • Handle questions and complaints from customers (e.g., food inspection, legislation, technical documents) and suppliers; investigate and analyze the situation to identify causes and propose improvement processes
  • Ensure maintenance and further development of current QA certifications necessary for the company's references to customers
  • Follow regulations regarding product specifications and service documentation (raw material replacement, recipe changes, datasheets, regulatory monitoring)
  • Guarantee that Solina Group policies, procedures, and/or instructions are prepared, implemented, and followed by personnel
  • Organize, manage, plan, and monitor FSQEHS performance of operations
