Requirements

Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Information Technology, Economics, Finance, Business management, or similar field of study (preferable)
2+ years of experience as a Tester/Quality Assurance engineer in IT projects (preferable)
Experience in delivering automated testing services for projects of various sizes and industries (preferable)
Experience in test automation tooling and interest in the latest trends and processes in the test automation area (preferable)
Knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle and the Software Test Life Cycle, including Agile methodology
Strong understanding of software testing concepts, QA methodologies, and testing processes
Experience with bug-tracking tools and test management systems
Fluent English
Solid command of the Microsoft Office Suite products
Second foreign language (considered an advantage)
Strong communication skills, verbal and written, and product sense – ability to communicate clearly and in a timely manner with all customers, partners, and users, internal and external
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Eagerness to learn and grow in the field of software quality assurance

Responsibilities

Defines, identifies, collects, and organizes detailed information related to testing requirements
Interacts with the teams to gain understanding of the business environment, technical context, and conformance criteria
Develop test cases, test scenarios, test plans for manual or automated testing
Perform manual or automated testing to validate software functionality
Ensure the software quality and reliability
Identify, document, and track software defects using bug tracking tools
Collaborate with development and cross-functional teams to ensure timely resolution of issues
Analyze test results and provide recommendations for improvements
Support knowledge management and collaboration through participation in testing discussions, communities, and testing collateral improvement through lessons learned
Mentor and provide guidance to less experienced QA team members
Manage individual priorities, deadlines, and deliverables within the project
Contribute to the development and enhancement of testing processes and methodologies
Provide testing support during software release cycles
Participate in team meetings and discussions
Attend company trainings for cross-skilling and/or upskilling
