Candidates must possess a C1 or above proficiency in English, 3+ years of expertise in designing and implementing test automation frameworks using Playwright and TypeScript, experience in writing and maintaining test cases and suites at a team level, previous experience in Scrum methodologies, proven experience with API testing using tools like Postman and automating API tests, a solid understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and web application architecture, comfort running a development environment locally for testing purposes, and experience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).
The QA Automation Engineer will design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and test suites using Playwright and TypeScript for both UI and API testing, collaborate with product and engineering to develop comprehensive test plans and test cases, perform exploratory and manual testing as needed, become a subject matter expert on their team’s product area, bring their curiosity to ensure stories are well refined and testable, implement and execute automated tests across various test levels (e.g., end-to-end, integration, component), perform thorough API testing using tools like Postman and automate API testing using Playwright, analyze test results, identify defects, and work closely with development teams to resolve issues, and contribute to the improvement of testing processes, tools, and methodologies.
