Expertise in Git and CI/CD processes, along with strong analytical and communication skills, is also necessary. Nice-to-have qualifications include skills in performance and accessibility testing, experience with containerization and cloud platforms, and proficiency in BDD frameworks.
The Automation Test Engineer will create detailed test plans, test cases, and scripts to ensure broad test coverage and mitigate risks. They will contribute to the test strategy by adhering to automation best practices and enhancing the reliability of the testing process. Responsibilities include working closely with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues, designing, refining, and maintaining UI and API automated test scripts with Playwright or Cypress in JavaScript, and integrating automated tests within the CI/CD pipeline. The role also involves generating and communicating automated test metrics to leadership.
