Opportunity

The company is seeking a QA Engineer to join their engineering team, focusing on driving AI adoption in Test Automation. This role involves close collaboration with the Director of Engineering, Product teams, and other Engineers.


How You'll Contribute

First Month:

  • Ramp up on current automation tools and engineering best practices.
  • Contribute to an existing test automation project.
  • Gain an understanding of the full customer acquisition journey.

First Three Months:

  • Become familiar with the AI offering.
  • Dive deeper into current test practices.
  • Navigate at least one business domain within engineering.

First Six Months:

  • Successfully deliver on one new AI proof-of-concept.
  • Contribute to one large product or automation project.

First Year:

  • Present (or write an article) on key AI findings in Test Automation.
  • Demonstrate a high-level understanding of the end-to-end customer journey at Centerfield.
  • Significantly contribute to test coverage for one or more areas with no existing coverage.

Responsibilities

  • Drive AI adoption in Test Automation.
  • Work closely with Product teams and other Engineers.
  • Contribute to test automation projects.
  • Maintain automation applications.
  • Research and implement new automation tools and technologies.

Requirements

  • Experience: 2+ years of experience as a Software Engineer (QA, Automation, DevOps, Dev, etc.)
  • Programming Skills: Comfortable with advanced features of at least one object-oriented programming language (Python, JavaScript, Java, etc.)
  • AI/LLM Knowledge: Experienced in incorporating AI and LLM in technical solutions.
  • Technical Knowledge: Strong knowledge of Web, API, and database technologies.
  • Communication Skills: Clear communicator with the ability to communicate clearly.
