Requirements

  • Passionate and committed to reimagining pediatric health care for children with complex medical conditions
  • Dynamic personality and knack for developing good interpersonal relationships
  • Comfort with scientific terminology and ability to move through various medical environments (hospitals, doctors' offices, pharmacies)
  • Familiarity with several types of providers (e.g., Physicians, Physician Assistants, Nurse Practitioners); pediatrics preferred
  • 6+ years of related experience in sales, direct marketing, or customer service in a medical or healthcare field
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; proficiency with CRM software preferred
  • Access to reliable transportation
  • Bilingual in Spanish highly preferred
  • Willingness to travel up to 75% within territory/market (primary location Asheville/Durham, NC; up to 50% frequent travel in larger area)
  • Availability for Monday-Friday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm ET schedule, with some weekends for conferences/events

Responsibilities

  • Manage provider relationships and drive engagement within assigned territory or specific market/specialized population
  • Execute strategic initiatives, including supporting providers, coordinating events, and addressing day-to-day operational needs/decisions
  • Act as primary point of contact for providers and community organizations in territory
  • Provide input on central engagement strategies based on on-the-ground experience
  • Independently handle day-to-day challenges/decision-making and collaborate with Director on broader systematic challenges
  • Work closely with providers, care teams, and local community organizations to drive brand recognition
  • Identify engagement opportunities by independently pulling data from Tableau to share with PCPs
  • Mentor and support new and associate-level team members
  • Meet and exceed established monthly engagement targets
  • Travel within territory and market for team support and relationship building (expected 75% of time)
  • Independently develop and maintain relationships with health plans
  • Serve as ambassador for Imagine Pediatrics to enroll eligible patients/families in app-based care model
