Responsibilities

  • Position the educational concept of continuous glucose monitoring as fundamental for diabetes treatment to healthcare professionals, points of sale, and patients
  • Present Freestyle Libre and other product line items to patients, clinics, hospitals, pharmacies, and public entities, providing scientific information and benefits while meeting visit targets
  • Educate new and existing users on the use and handling of Freestyle Libre and related products
  • Present diabetes concepts, nuances, and complications of poor control to pharmacists and healthcare professionals involved in dispensing Freestyle Libre
  • Transmit essential knowledge about diabetes pathology to patients/users
  • Guide diabetes patients and caregivers on the importance of daily habit changes, acceptance, self-management, and increased self-monitoring for proper control
  • Adapt and optimize communication approaches for patients, families, and caregivers, addressing their specific needs
  • Promote diabetes education events for patients on the disease, correct product use, monitoring importance, treatment adherence, and tips for better quality of life
  • Implement merchandising fundamentals excellently in visited pharmacies per company Trade Marketing guidelines
  • Ensure products are attractively displayed in strategic, high-visibility points in stores for shoppers
  • Collect data on product stock and sales, evaluate distribution and availability, identify market issues and opportunities, and report to leadership
  • Plan client visits, execute strategies, maintain follow-up using relevant tools
