Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Information Technology, or a related field, and a minimum of 3 years of experience in project management, specifically focused on engineering projects. They must demonstrate a proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects on time and within budget, along with strong leadership and communication skills to effectively influence and motivate cross-functional teams. Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies, such as Asana or Jira, is required, as well as hands-on experience with data science tools and technologies including Python, SQL, and AWS.

Responsibilities

The Technical Project Manager will closely collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, prioritize, and execute engineering initiatives, setting strategic direction and ensuring alignment with business objectives, while driving continuous improvement. They will define and document project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders, devising and adapting strategies for achieving necessary goals, and communicating project status and milestones to stakeholders. Furthermore, the Project Manager will develop full-scale project plans and associated artifacts, manage the data science backlog, prioritizing it based on evolving requirements, plan and schedule project timelines and milestones utilizing appropriate tools, and assist in the staffing and assignment of resources based on project needs.
